The Able Sport story, company mission, team members, and Krige Schabort’s professional racing achievements.

Our Story

Krige represented South Africa at four Paralympic Games between 1992 and 2004, then raced for Team USA in London 2012 and Rio 2016 after immigrating to the United States.

Able Sport is a family business. Daniel Schabort joined the business in 2023 and developed a strong talent for welding and fabrication after the company invested in equipment during COVID 2020.

Caron Schabort now sews all upholstery for the Mavrex racing chair, alongside Chris Holcomb as shipping coordinator and Connie Skinner as bookkeeper.

Our Mission

Able Sport exists to help athletes of all levels achieve their optimal racing chair position through better fabrication, better fit, and better consultation.
