1. Overview
Able Sport stands behind every product we build. Because much of what we make is custom-built to your individual measurements - especially Mavrex racing chairs - our return and refund process is different for stock items than it is for custom orders. Please read the section that applies to your order before requesting a return.

2. Stock & In-Catalog Items
Stock items (such as accessories, tires, wheels, parts, and apparel sold from inventory) may be returned for a refund or exchange within 30 days of the delivery date, provided the item is:
- In new, unused, and resaleable condition.
- In the original packaging with all tags and accessories included.
- Free of any signs of installation, road use, or modification.
Items returned outside this window or not in the condition above may be rejected or subject to a partial refund.
3. Custom Mavrex & Made-to-Order Items
Custom-built Mavrex racing chairs, custom wheel builds, and any made-to-order item are non-returnable and non-refundable once production has started. These items are built specifically for you based on the measurements, configuration, and color selections you approve on the order form, and they cannot be resold as new.
To protect you before production starts:
- We strongly recommend a measuring/consulting session before placing a custom order.
- You will be asked to review and confirm your order form before fabrication begins.
- You may cancel a custom order for a full refund (less any consulting fees already provided) at any time before production has started. Once we have begun fabrication, the deposit and any subsequent payments are non-refundable.
Custom orders are still covered by our defective-product and damaged-in-transit policies described below.
4. Defective Products & Warranty
We warrant our products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for 3 months on components and 1 year on the frame, measured from the date of delivery. This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear (including tires, tubes, push rims, brake pads, and other consumables).
- Damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect, improper assembly, modification, or unauthorized repair.
- Damage from racing crashes, transportation outside our packaging, or extreme conditions outside the product's intended use.
- Cosmetic wear (paint chips, scuffs) that does not affect function.
If you believe your item is defective, contact [email protected] with your order number, photos, and a description of the issue. At our option, we will repair the item, replace it, or refund the purchase price.
5. Damaged in Transit
Inspect your package at delivery. If you see visible damage to the box or contents:
- Note the damage on the carrier's delivery receipt if possible.
- Take clear photos of the packaging and the damaged item.
- Contact us at [email protected] within 5 business days of delivery.
We will work with the carrier to file a claim and arrange repair, replacement, or refund. Please keep all original packaging until the claim is resolved.
6. How to Start a Return
Email [email protected] with the following:
- Order number.
- Item(s) you want to return and the reason for the return.
- Photos, if relevant (especially for defective or damaged items).
We will respond with return authorization and shipping instructions. Please do not ship items back without contacting us first - unauthorized returns may be refused.
7. Return Shipping
- Defective or damaged items: Able Sport covers return shipping for confirmed defects or transit damage.
- Buyer's remorse / change of mind: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs and any original outbound shipping is non-refundable.
We recommend insuring and tracking return shipments. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.
8. Refund Timing
Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to confirm the outcome. Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method via Stripe. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the refund may take additional time to appear on your statement.
9. Exchanges
We are happy to arrange an exchange for a different size, color, or product when the original item qualifies for return. Exchanges are subject to availability. Any price difference will be charged or refunded as appropriate.
10. Consulting & Service Fees
Measuring and fabrication fees are described on the Measuring & Fabrication page. Service fees are non-refundable once the consultation has been delivered. If you cancel a scheduled consultation in advance, fees may be refunded or credited at our discretion - contact us at [email protected].
11. Non-Returnable Items
The following are not eligible for return:
- Custom-built Mavrex chairs and any custom configuration once production has started.
- Items damaged from misuse, racing crashes, or unauthorized modification.
- Used tires, tubes, and other consumables that show signs of use.
- Final-sale or clearance items, when clearly marked at purchase.
