1. Overview
This Shipping Policy explains where Able Sport ships, how long it takes for orders to leave our shop, what carriers we use, and what to do if something goes wrong in transit. Custom-built Mavrex chairs are shipped after fabrication is complete - lead times are described under Custom Build Lead Times.
2. Where We Ship
Able Sport ships to addresses globally.
- P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses for large or freight items.
If your address is outside our standard service area, contact [email protected] and we will let you know whether shipping is possible and at what cost.
3. Order Processing Time
Stock items typically ship within 3-5 business days after your order is placed. Processing time excludes weekends, US federal holidays, and any closures announced on the Site or by email.
During high-volume periods or around major races, processing may take slightly longer. You will receive an email when your order ships.
4. Custom Build Lead Times
Custom Mavrex racing chairs and custom wheel builds are made-to-order. The lead time depends on the configuration and the current queue, but is typically 4-6 weeks from the date production begins (which is normally after deposit, approved order form, and confirmed measurements).
Your estimated ship date will be confirmed when your order is placed. If timelines change after fabrication starts, we will keep you informed.
5. Shipping Methods & Carriers
We use the following carriers based on the size, weight, and destination of the shipment:
- Small parcels: USPS, UPS, or FedEx Ground.
- Large items & racing chairs: UPS or FedEx Ground, or freight LTL for oversized crates.
- Expedited shipping: available on request and at additional cost. Contact [email protected] before placing your order if you need an expedited service.
6. Shipping Costs
Where shipping is quoted separately (for example, for freight shipments of full racing chairs), we will confirm the cost with you before charging.
Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable, except where the return is due to our error, a defect, or transit damage. See our Refund & Return Policy for details.
7. International Shipping & Duties
For international orders, the buyer is responsible for any import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, and brokerage charges levied by the destination country. These charges are not included in the shipping cost shown at checkout and are collected by the carrier or local authorities upon delivery.
Delivery times for international shipments depend on the destination and customs processing, which is outside our control. We will provide tracking once the package ships.
8. Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number and a link to the carrier's tracking page. You can also view tracking information in your account at any time. If you have not received tracking within the processing window above, please check your spam folder or contact us at [email protected].
9. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages
Risk of loss transfers to you when the carrier marks the package as delivered. If a package is marked delivered but you have not received it:
- Check with neighbors, household members, and your building's mail room.
- Wait 24-48 hours - packages occasionally show as delivered before they actually arrive.
- Contact the carrier with the tracking number to open an inquiry.
- Contact us at [email protected] if you need help. We will assist with the carrier claim where possible.

10. Address Accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for delays, returned shipments, or losses caused by an incorrect or undeliverable address. If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible at [email protected] - we will do our best to update the shipment if it has not yet been dispatched.
Packages returned to us as undeliverable will be reshipped at the customer's expense, or refunded less the original outbound shipping and any restocking fees.
11. Local Pickup
Local pickup at our shop may be available by appointment. Contact [email protected] to arrange a time.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Changes apply to orders placed after the new Effective Date.
